Staff Appreciation

We will be honoring our COOL Cooley Staff with two upcoming events:  

On Wednesday, May 9th we will have a simple grab and go breakfast of muffins and donuts.  Please click here for the sign-up sheet.  All items need to be at Cooley by 8:15 on the 9th.

 

On Friday, May 11th we will be providing a taco/burrito bar for lunch. Please check out our sign-up sheet to either provide menu items or help with set-up/clean here: Taco & Burrito Bar Luncheon.   Please e-mail Cindi Miller if you have any questions.

 

We have received feedback from the teachers and staff -they so enjoy and appreciate all we do.  We could not do it without you!  Thank you!!!

8th Grade Send Off

The 8th Grade Send-Off Committee is Making Stars! Plans are on their way for a night of celebration for our 8th graders. We are looking for raffle prizes and volunteers for the evening. If you are interested in volunteering that evening, please contact volunteer.coordinator@cooleyptc.com and if you'd like to donate to the evening, please contact Monica Mooney at  dannysweetangel@yahoo.com. More information will be coming shortly regarding volunteer opportunities.

Looking for a Home

Educational Homestay Programs, a division of Education First, is a non-profit based in Cambridge, MA. EHP is bringing 85 students from Russia, Italy, Denmark, and Spain this summer to study English and experience the American way of life. We are currently looking for homes for these students, and would love for your to be involved. Student ages are from 13 to 18 and will be visiting from July 5th to July 31st. The students will be under the supervision of EF staff from 8:00am to 5:30pm. Volunteer host families are asked to provide bed, meals, and transportation. Jamba Juice is back on Campus

Come out on Wednesday afternoon for a wonderful smoothie. They are $4 and part of the proceeds goes back to the PTC.

Tdap Immunization Requirement for 7th grade Entry-NO SHOTS, NO SCHOOL

Students entering 7th grade must provide the school with proof of a Tdap booster before the start of the 2012/2013 school year.

*If your incoming 7th grader has already had the Tdap booster, please bring documentation to the school office immediately. If they have not had the shot, please make arrangements with your healthcare provider over the summer and bring documentation to the office as soon as possible to avoid delays in getting their schedule for the Fall.

Students entering 7th grade who do not have proof of Tdap booster will be excluded and will not be allowed to attend school until documentation of the immunization has been provided to the school.
